Church History

The Catholic Church In Qatar Is Part Of The Universal Church, Whose Spiritual Head Is The Pope . On May 31, 2011, According To A decree Of The Holy See, Qatar Was Detached From the Apostolic Vicariate of Arabia And Included In The Newly-Formed Ecclesiastical Territory Of The Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia. The Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia Is Under The Spiritual Care And Guidance Of His Lordship H E Bishop Aldo Berardi, O.SS.T. Apostolic Vicar Of Northern Arabia.

Message From Our Parish Priest

With hearts full of gratitude, we celebrate 17 years of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Qatar—a spiritual home to thousands of faithful from diverse nations and cultures. This church has been a place of welcome, where immigrants and expatriates have found a family in faith, united by the love of Christ and the intercession of Our Blessed Mother.

We thank God for the priests, religious, and dedicated parishioners who have nurtured this vibrant faith community. Through the Holy Eucharist, the Sacraments, and acts of service, Our Lady of the Rosary Church has been a source of strength, comfort, and spiritual growth for all who seek refuge in God’s love.

As we celebrate this milestone, we pray that this church continues to be a beacon of faith, unity, and hope for future generations. May Our Lady of the Rosary intercede for us, and may God’s abundant blessings remain upon this blessed community.
