Baptism

REQUIREMENTS :
FOR PARENTS MARRIED IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.
A. Baptism seminar ( Every 1st. Monday Of The Month )
B. Baptism application form ( to be distributed after the baptism seminar )
C. Photocopy of catholic church marriage certificate .
D. Photocopy of child's birth certificate.
FOR GODPARENTS:
a.. For Single; - Copy of Baptismal Certificate.
b. For Married - copy of baptismal Certificate OR Church Married Certificate.

FOR PARENTS NOT YET MARRIED IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.
A. Baptism seminar (every 1st Monday of the month )
B. Baptism application form ( to be distributed after the baptism seminar )
C. Photocopy of civil Marriage Certificate.
D. Photocopy of child' Birth Certificate.

Confession

The Sacraments are a wonderful gift to us from god inviting us into deeper intimacy with him. So that children Can Gain the full benefit of the experience, The preparation is vitally important. Unlike baptism and confirmation, reconciliation is a sacrament that can be received as often as one wants, and it strengthens us with grace each time it is received.

Confessions is held in the Main Church.

Confirmation

Confirmation is the sacrament that completes baptism, In it's, the gift of the Holy Spirit is bestowed upon us. Anyone who freely decides to live a life as God’s child and asks for God’s spirit under the signs of the imposition of hands and anointing with chrism receives the strength To witness to God’s love and might in word and deed. He/she is now a Full-fledged, responsible member of The Catholic Church.

Eucharist

The Eucharist, The living and real presence of Jesus Christ completes the christian initiation. Through this Sacrament Of Initiation, We participate with the whole community of believers in the Lord’s own sacrifice.

Marriage

STEPS AND REQUIREMENTS IN PREPARATION FOR THE SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

STEP 1: INQUIRE & INFORM THE PARISH OFFICE
Those who intend to get married should inquire at the parish office about all related information and documents
needed for the Sacraments of Marriage at least three (3) months prior to the weeding. Early notification is necessary to
give enough time for the applicants to request and collect the documents required and ensure all the relevant marriage
formalities are done.

STEP 2: SECURED REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
The following documents MUST be available BEFORE the scheduled of the pre-nuptial inquiry:
A. ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE OF BAPTISM with remarks : FOR MARRIAGE PURPOSES AND Issued not more than six (6 ) months.
B. ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE OF CONFIRMATION.
C. CERTIFICATE OF "FREEDOM TO MARY" or a letter from your Parish Priest where you were baptized.
D. Marriage Preparation Course Certificate ( MPC ), issued of not more than six ( 6 ) months. ( STEP 3 )
E. Photo copy of your Passport and valid resident permit (RP)
F. Two (2) copies of passport size photographs for each applicant.
G. Letter of singleness attested by the Embassy/Consulate.
H. If Civilly Married, Certificate True Copy of Civil Marriage Certificate from the Embassy / Consulate..

STEP 3: REGISTER AND ATTEND THE MARRIAGE PREPARATION COURSE ( MPC ).
Check the notice board regarding dates for the Marriage Preparation Course and register in the parish office.
To register, the applicant/s should should fill up MPC form and submit it together with the copy of baptismal certificate
( issued not more than 6 months ) QID and Passport copy. Attend MPC on the date selected to obtain the MPC Certificate. Certificates will be issued upon completion of the course.
STEP 4: SET AN APPOINTMENTFOR PRE- NUPTIAL INQUIRY
Set an appointment with the parish priest for the pre-nuptial inquiry. Meet the Parish Priest on the scheduled date and time
fill up the Pre-Nuptial Inquiry Form during the interview / inquiry. It must be signed by the applicants and the Parish Priest. dated
and stamped. NOTE: BRING AND SUBMIT ALL DOCUMENTS MENTIONED IN THE STEP (2 )
STEP 5; PUBLISH THE MARRIAGE BANNS
Fill up Marriage Banns Form. It must be signed by the Parish Priest. dated and stamped. It will be published for thee (3 ) consecutive
Sundays in the Marriage Banns bulletin of the parish.
STEP 6: SCHEDULE THE DAY OF MARRIAGE.
Schedule and book weeding date at the parish office after checking the availability of the church facilities with the parish secretary.

Rite Of Christian Initiation Of Adults / Ordo Initiationis Christianae Adultorum. (R.C.I.A / O.I.C.A )

Baptism, Confirmation, and the Holy Eucharist "Are The Sacraments Of Christian Initiation." They ground the common vocation of all Christ Disciples, a vocation of Holiness and to the Mission of Evangelizing the world. They confer the graces needed for life according to the spirit during this life of pilgrims on the march towards the homeland. ( Catechism Of The Catholic Church # 1533 )

ADULT BAPTISM REQUIREMENTS;
1. Passport Photocopy
2. Qatar ID Photocopy
3. Proof of No Baptism:
* Letter From The Parishes Where You Resided.
* Letter of Parents to Certify no Baptism.
4. Confirmation Certificate of the Godparent
5. Attend catechism as per the schedule given.
6. If baptized in other denomination please provide the Baptismal Certificate.
7. Registration fee: 200 QR (Qatari Riyals )

ADULT CONFIRMATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Catholic Baptismal Certificate.
2. Qatar ID Photocopy;
3. Passport Photocopy:
4 . Confirmation Certificate of the Godparent.
5. Attend catechism for 3 consecutive Fridays from 6:00PM - 9:00PM.
6. Registration fee: 200.00 QR (Qatari Riyals )

The sacrament of the anointing of the sick offers, A Prayer for Healing, Hope and Strength and is intended for a catholic at the beginning of a serious illness, Before surgery or weakened due to age or chronic infirmity. Viaticum, “Food For The Journey”, Is Holy Communion with special Prayers for the dying and serves as the “last Rites” for catholics who are terminally ill and in the last stages of Life.
